WHY USE e-BROCHURES?
First, you can see the most up to date lists of what our most trusted suppliers are offering this season. Often inventory and contracts change, new resorts are built, new destinations added in between printing dates; continually updating paper brochures would be cost prohibitive and impractical. With Electronic media, updates are instantly available whenever needed. You can feel good that you are also helping lower consumer (that is you) costs, reducing greenhouse emissions, pollution and saving trees in the process!
How?
By using electronic media you are helping suppliers cut back on expensive printing which means less paper and fewer trees cut down to create the paper;
Fewer logging trucks burning fossil fuels to transport the trees to the plants;
Reduced energy demands from the paper processing plants resulting in lower fuel consumption from the power plants;
Less paper to transport from the plants to warehouses for storage until a printer places an order then, again, less fuel expended by transporting the product to the printer which results in less printed material to ship to the suppliers or their distribution centers;
Lower postage expenses and, you guessed it again, less fuel to power the vehicles to deliver the same brochure that you can have right here, at your fingertips upon demand!
Then, when the consumer is through with the printed material they are, hopefully, placing it in a recycle container. The vehicles that pick up your recycling or, shame!, "the garbage," have to burn something to get the cast offs to the recycling plant (or dump) where more energy is consumed either processing the recycling or bulldozing the landfills.
Now imagine the impact this would have if just one quarter of the travelers chose this option. One third? One half? EVERY step you take makes a difference!
